About us
African Women and Children Empowerment Network in Action (AWACENIA ) is a community-driven non-profit organisation dedicated to addressing the root causes of inequality, poverty and marginalisation affecting women and children across Africa. We provide programmes that foster education, self-sufficiency, and advocacy for rights and inclusion.
Our work is rooted in dignity, equity, and the belief that real change begins at the heart of the community. we believe that when women rise, communities thrive. When children are empowered, the future changes.
We envision a transformed Africa where women and children have equal access to education, justice, healthcare, and economic opportunity, leading to resilient and empowered communities.
Our Mission
To empower African women and children through access to education, health, economic opportunities, and social support systems that promote dignity, independence, and long-term community transformation.
